What We Do
Outcast Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to Advocating, Informing and Rescuing America's Most Misjudged Dog Breeds - The Pit Bull and The Rottweiler. Pennsylvania is our primary area of operation.
We do not have a shelter facility. Our volunteer foster homes take these wonderful animals into their homes until we find their forever families.
-Many dogs are relinquished everyday for reasons that don't have to do with behavior.
- A lot of the dogs we save, we pull from local shelters. You're saving a life!
- It's cheaper, our dogs are fully vetted and ready to start their new adventure.
- We start basic manners with our dogs, as well as crate training and being house broken.
Our dogs are fully vetted including vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, fecal test, and parasite prevention.
We behavior evaluate each dog, and see how they cope with a new home situation. During this period we slowly introduce them to children, other dogs, and sometimes cats and small animals to see how they react. By doing things slowly and working on training our dogs become highly adoptable.
Become a Foster Family to a Dog in Need. Foster families are the most important part of our rescue. We rely on our fosters to help us save dogs in need. One foster home opens up a safe spot to save a life. You provide, love, training (with our help of course), warmth and a safe haven. We provide, food, supplies, and veterinary care for our dogs
Help Support Outcast Rescue

We have a very thorough adoption process. We screen each adopter to ensure that the home they provide is the best possible home for our deserving pooches! As part of our adoption process we have an application that needs to be filled out prior to any meets. We check vet references, personal references, a home visit, then a meet and greet!
